Jacqueline Jossa and her boyfriend Dan Osborne have hinted they plan to marry following the birth of their daughter.
The couple, who are just weeks away from welcoming their first child together, opened up about their future family plans in an interview with OK! magazine.
The couple have been plagued by split rumours ever since Jossa announced her pregnancy, reportedly over tensions between the couple Osborne's ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin. Osborne and Tomlin have a son together, one-year-old Teddy, but when it was revealed that Osborne was to become a father again, his ex didn't take the news well. At the time, the TOWIE star admitted his former girlfriend was finding it tough, but when asked about Tomlin during the interview with OK!, Jossa cut in: "We don't really want to talk about Megan."
Osborne added: "No, we don't want to speak about my ex. I have an incredible son, an incredible girlfriend and an incredible daughter on the way. I do not stay at my ex's any more and haven't for some time – we are civil for Teddy and that's that."
The TOWIE star was then pressed on his cryptic "relationships just do not seem to work" tweet in November 2014, which led many to speculate his romance with Jossa had ended. He has now clarified his comment, explaining: "That was just me having a temper tantrum after a silly argument and wrote something silly on Twitter – I didn't think it would get such a reaction."
The couple admitted that it hasn't been an easy journey for them, however, said they are now stronger and their relationship is "forever".
"It has been hard but I'm lucky to still have Jackie," Osborne said. "There have been times when I've spent loads of time with Teddy and I've been funny with Jackie or not really spoken to her.
"I was unhappy whenever I was away from Teddy so there was a lot of pressure on us. But now we've got our baby on the way and everything has fallen into place."
"It's difficult but we've come out the other side and it just shows that nothing can really break us, so it's not as big as people think," his girlfriend added. She also spoke of the couple's future, confessing: "I want us to get married before I have another baby", an idea Osborne said he supported.
"I'm really nervous about how to propose, because she's so particular,' he said. "She wants me to get on one knee. I can't tell you [about the proposal] but I've got some wicked ideas."
Jossa and Osborne first met in August 2013 and started dating, only to separate shortly afterwards when it was revealed Osborne was expecting a child with his ex. During the summer of 2014, the couple confirmed they were back together and just weeks later, the EastEnders' actress announced they were expecting their first child – a girl – together.
