The singer took to Instagram over the weekend to share a snap, which revealed the 33-year-old to be lying in sand, appearing to have created a small baby bump covering her stomach.
She has not captioned the photo, which was first published on Sunday, but her fans were quick to comment, with many questioning whether the singer was indeed expecting another baby.
Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z are already parents to a daughter, Blue Ivy, who turned three last week. The couple, who have been married since April 2008, have previously spoken of their desire to have more children.
