Girls Star Allison Williams Gets Engaged

Girls star Allison Williams confirmed on Wednesday night that she had accepted a proposal from her boyfriend Ricky Van Venn.

The actress, who plays Marnie on the comedy series is the co-founder of the College Humour website, along with her long-term boyfriend.


No more details about the proposal have been announced.

The couple met through mutual friends and are good pals with Katy Perry and John Mayer. Both couples have regularly been spotted on double dates in New York City.

The 25-year-old brunette admitted she "would walk away" from her acting career in favour of starting a family, but insisted she was not ready to throw her career away for something more family-friendly in the near future.
