TOWIE star Billie Faiers has revealed she is engaged to her partner Greg Shepherd.
The news comes just weeks after the reality television star confirmed the couple are expecting their first child – a girl – together.
The 24-year-old and her fiancé recently took a romantic holiday to the Maldives, where Shepherd proposed. Throughout the couples' break, Faiers posted a series of photographs to her Instagram account, including one of her engagement ring.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, the mother-to-be has now opened up about the proposal.
She said that her partner had to persuade her to go to the small island he had in mind for the proposal because she didn't want to walk there. Once she did go with him, however, she revealed Shepherd pulled a diamond ring from a plant pot and popped the question.
She explained: "He said 'I love you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I know our baby will be just as beautiful as you are. Will you marry me?'
"Then he started crying. It took a while for it all to sink in and then ten minutes later I got a bit tearful too."
Faiers first confirmed her pregnancy last month following speculation that she had been spotted with a small baby bump. She and Shepherd have been in a relationship for two years.
