The former Westlife singer presided over the ceremony of Del and Donna Farnsworth as part of a competition from ITV1's Daybreak programme.
The couple, who are childhood sweethearts, were flown to the US and treated to a helicopter tour of Las Vegas before they had cocktails on the famous Strip in the city. The bride-to-be was then whisked away to pick out her wedding dress for the ceremony. In addition, the couple and their guests – daughters, Sky, 23, and 18-year-old Fern as well as friends Ben and Hayley – are the first ever to marry in front of the Bellagio Hotel fountains.
For the Valentine's Day ceremony, Egan officiated the ceremony before a local registrar confirmed the marriage blessing. Commenting on the wedding afterwards, the bride admitted she had felt "emotional and overwhelmed", while her husband said he was "on top of the world" to have finally married his soulmate.
Egan himself is happily married to actress and singer Jodi Albert. The couple have been together for 11 years. They married in May 2009 and in July 2011 they announced they were expecting their first child together. In December of that year, it was confirmed Albert had given birth to a baby boy named Koa.
