The One Direction singer reportedly said his fiancée could make all the decisions regarding their big day, but Edwards was having none of it. As a result, he is now taking on some of the planning.
Speaking to MTV News, the Little Mix singer revealed: "He tried to get out of it. He said, 'You know what? The wedding, it's all about the lady.' He went, 'Honestly, it's your day. You're the princess. You go all out and then just let me know what you want.
"I went, 'You're not getting out of it that easy, love. You're planning it with me, thank you very much.' He thought he was clever, but no, I'm one step ahead."
The young couple are yet to set a date for their wedding but they have previously said they would like to marry before 2015. The pair confirmed their engagement in August 2013 and have been in a relationship since 2012.
