Liz Hurley has slammed "ludicrously silly stories" that claim she had an affair with former US President Bill Clinton.
The claims emerged earlier this week and have been alleged by actor Tom Sizemore in tapes obtained by US publication Radar Online.
Responding to the allegations, however, Hurley, 48, took to Twitter to simply write: "Ludicrously silly stories about me & Bill Clinton. Totally untrue. In the hands of my lawyers. Yawn."
Sizemore, 52, has since appeared to take back his claims. Making an appearance on HuffPost Live on Wednesday afternoon, admitting that while he did make the comments, he blamed it on his previous history of drug abuse.
He explained: "I've never met former President Clinton, I've never known him to know Ms Hurley. I'm not denying that I said these things... I don't remember saying these things.
"My perceptions were not the greatest," he added, claiming that the tape was recorded during the time when he was taking drugs.
Sizemore has previously claimed to have had a three-year affair with Hurley in the early 1990s, while she was engaged to Hugh Grant.
