Shane Warne has reportedly flown to the UK to try and save his relationship with Liz Hurley.
The former cricketer was spotted boarding a flight to the UK with his children yesterday, and comes just days after it was revealed the couple's relationship was in trouble.
A source is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "Shane still desperately loves Elizabeth and wants to make a go of things. The long distance wasn't helping so he decided to book plane tickets, and make the effort to see her.
"Their work schedules of late haven't been compatible so he is looking forward to spending some proper time with her.
"She was infatuated with Shane but after their latest row, feels she has had enough and, quite frankly, has grown a bit bored with him and some of the things that come out of his mouth.
"Shane will have to be at his most charming if he's to win her round."
Hurley is based in the UK while Warne has been spending time in his native Australia.
Rumours emerged about the couple's break-up earlier this week after Hurley and Warne had not tweeted each other in three weeks. The pair are known for frequently exchanging loving messages on the social networking site. Then, on Wednesday, Warne took to his Twitter account to say: "Some of the reports re EH [Hurley] & me r absolute rubbish. Yes we're sorting through some (private) issues. But we're not throwing the towel in yet".
However, 48-year-old Hurley appears to contradict him, as she also took to Twitter to share: "Apologies to loyal followers for Twitter silence on recent events. Too raw & personal to share right now."
The couple have been together for three years. They were first reported to be in a relationship in 2010 after they were spotted together outside a London restaurant. In 2011, they announced their engagement, after confirming they both both split from their previous partners the year before.
Hurley split from her husband of four years, Arun Nayar, while Warne separated from his wife Simone Callahan, with who he has three children.
