According to the Daily Mail, bride Abi Lingwood, 28, and her husband Daniel, were enjoying their wedding reception at the Stoke Park Hotel in Maidenhead, when the groom spotted the Hollywood actor sitting at the bar.
He was then able to convince 49-year-old Pitt to pose for a photograph with the happy couple.
Speaking to the Maidenhead Advertiser, Abi said: "My husband said to me Brad Pitt was at the bar and you have got to come with me so he dragged me across the hotel. I thought he was joking."
She added: "He said congratulations and I hope you have had a great day and let's have a picture. And he said I looked nice. He was really nice."
The bride also admitted the actor was then forced to retreat to his hotel room when the rest of the wedding party discovered he was in the building.
"The girls were going wild and mental so Brad and the people he was with went upstairs to a room for their meeting.
"It has become more of a talking point than my wedding, but that is fine," she admitted.
