Lucy-Jo Hudson and her husband Alan Halsall have welcomed their first child.
The couple, who also starred on Coronation Street together, became parents for the first time on Saturday (7 September), but have only just revealed more details about their baby daughter.
Over the weekend, Halsall confirmed the birth on his Twitter account, writing: "Lucy-Jo & I are delighted to announce the arrival of our little girl born this morning. Mother & baby are home with a very proud Father."
He later added: "Please forgive @LucyJo_Hudson & I we would love to thank everybody individually, but we can't stop looking at our little beauty Sienna-Rae x".
Yesterday, new mum Hudson also took to her Twitter account to say: "Thank you all soooooo much for your well wishes, being a mummy is the best feeling in the world I am madly in love with her xxx".
She went on to confirm the name of her daughter, adding: "Our baby girl arrived fashionably late on the 7th September. We are proud parents to Sienna-Rae Halsall she is a dream xxx xxx".
Hudson and Halsall first met on the set of Coronation Street and began dating in 2005. They married in June 2009 and in February this year, they confirmed they were expecting their first child together.
