Aparecido Castaldo, 74, is due to marry Carmelita at midnight on 13 October in Igreja do Diabo, or 'Devils' Church', in the city of Jundiai, Brazil. It will be followed by a party on All Souls' Day the next day.
Discussing his partner, Mr Castaldo said: "She doesn't speak and doesn't want money."
Castaldo is a father of eight from four different marriages, but says he has been in love with his pet for two years. He added that their marriage would not be consummated.
Carmelita is reported to have ate her first wedding dress but another has been found for the ceremony.
Castaldo added: "Whenever someone says I am doing something wrong I reply the goat does not speak, ask for money to go shopping and doesn't get pregnant - and she can't talk."
